The new Snowfall quilt pattern features embroidered snowflakes and makes a good winter project for those cold winter days. The sweater below used some of the snowflakes and three skeins of Cosmo Sparkles, you could use white cotton floss as well. The patterns were printed on Sticky Fabri Solvy before sticking into place on the sweater. When the embroidery was finished the Fabri Solvy washed away.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, a free apron pattern to make as a hostess gift or for yourself. I picked bright colors and fabric from Strawberry Fields Revisited by Fig Tree for a a fresh look. I added color before I embroidered but it would look nice with out the color too. You can change the design for other holidays aprons or everyday aprons as well. A great gift idea, hope you enjoy!

First is three sets of farm designs that can be used individually for wall hanging, pillows, towels or aprons, or buy all three sets and make a quilt. The instructions for all come with each pattern.
Autumn Leaves quilt now ready for sale. The winter quilt should be ready in a few months and Summer will be the last of the four seasons group.
Make your own needle minders that will hold your scissors, pins & needles. All you need is a little rick rack, button, a bit of heavy interfacing and a couple of magnets.
At last, time to catch you up on everything that's been going on. Summer was great with all my family together for the first time in eight years, and all five of my grandkids together for the first time ever. Baby Tamara is wearing the dress I made her. What a blessing!

The table topper for the Autumn Leaves Quilt is finished. Working on finishing the quilt and writing the instructions.
I used Cosmo's new metallic thread Nishikiito for some of the hand quilting to give a little shimmer to the finished piece.Here is a close up.
