Autumn Days

At last, time to catch you up on everything that's been going on.  Summer was great with all my family together for the first time in eight years, and all five of my grandkids together for the first time ever. Baby Tamara is wearing the dress I made her. What a blessing!

The new Annie's Christmas magazine includes one of my snowman patterns this year check out page 52.

The table topper for the Autumn Leaves Quilt is finished.  Working on finishing the quilt and writing the instructions.

I used Cosmo's new metallic thread Nishikiito for some of the hand quilting to give a little shimmer to the finished piece. Here is a close up.

Happy Stitching and check back in about two weeks for a free fall pattern.

When I finished my new granddaughters dress but it looked a bit plain.

So I made up lots of different rick rack flowers before deciding on these, now it looks finished.

Started sewing a Raggedy Ann for her big sisters birthday.  I'm using the same pattern my mom used to make my Raggedy Ann, the pattern is the same age as me, Wow that's old!  I changed the face to make it look more like the book.  The face is painted with embroidery for finishing details.  Time to sew Ann together.

"Bake On Saturday" free pattern

This month's Kewpie is getting ready to bake up some goodies, since my first two children were adopted from India this Kewpie had to be brown, but you can make your Kewpie's any color you like.
